Every addV product runs through the same five stages. The order does not change, and nothing skips ahead — the last stage is the one that decides whether the thing was worth building.

Not from a technology looking for a use. Every product begins with a task that a real person is currently doing manually and badly — estimating their own study hours, reading inspection reports one at a time, taking orders through a chat thread, retyping source data into a regulatory document.
In practice: if we cannot name the person doing it by hand today, it is not a product yet.

The scope gets cut before anything is built, not after. Rawen could have been a smartwatch; it ended up as a band with no screen and one button, because its one job is to show an honest study number and a screen would have worked against that. 483 Lens could have been a compliance suite; it leads with search, because finding the right observation is the job.
In practice: the constraint usually comes from the problem itself — a device that fixes distraction cannot be a distraction.

Prototypes run on the actual corpus, not a sample. For 483 Lens that meant the published FDA record — observations, warning letters, investigator profiles, inspection metadata — indexed at full scale before the interface was designed around it. Working with the real thing is how you find out that keyword search does not survive contact with how inspectors write.
In practice: where a model makes a claim, the claim carries its source. Ask Lens cites the observation or letter behind every answer.

A product launches as a brand, not as a menu item under the parent company. Rawen, 483 Lens and Stylezion each have their own name, their own site and their own audience — students, regulatory teams and shoppers do not belong on the same homepage. addV stays the company behind them.
In practice: shared engineering and design; separate brand, domain and go-to-market.

Shipping is the start of the stage, not the end of it. Live products keep getting the same attention as new ones, and internal tools are held to the standard of the public ones — DMFs and Dossiers has no customers looking at it and is being built as carefully as the products that do.
In practice: one of the four products is internal. It is on this site anyway.
What stays constant
Constant 01
Where a product makes a claim about the world, it shows what the claim rests on — a cited source, a measured number, a real record.
Constant 02
Fewer surfaces, fewer settings, fewer things asking for attention. A screenless band and a single search box come from the same instinct.
Constant 03
Rawen's daily summary is for the student. A 483 Lens report is for the team that requested it. The product reports to the person using it.
